Light Projection

Through the last few public arts project I have begun to develop a new direction for my work based around the projection of light. I intend to pursue this exploration in all of my future projects and workshops.

I am organiser of the Alt Photo festival that takes place every March at several venues around Edinburgh. The main hub of the festival is at the Botanic Garden. The festival showcases alternative photographers from across Scotland and has an emphasis on practical involvement through workshops.

I run Photolab Projects based in Edinburgh that delivers  workshops by myself and other artists based on our chemical and digital photographic techniques.

Future Projects

My latest idea is a projection installation entitled “Being Still” that allows the viewer to study themselves and their own movement as they travel through a space. The viewer is an integral part of the projection and they begin by painting themselves into the room using video software.
